Some of the world's premier DJs closed The Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival in epic style yesterday.

There was legendary performances from the likes of Chicago's Derrick Carter, Francois K and headliners Laurent Garnier and Jamie Jones earlier in the afternoon, with fans heading to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow to enjoy two stages of premier electronic tunes - for a second day.

Lord of the Isles played an exclusive live set on stage 2, warming things up for fans waiting for Francois K, whose high energy set was a festival highlight.

DJ Sneak's rare back-to-back performance with Cajmere on stage 1 delighted the crowd as the charismatic pair played a tremendous selection of Chi-town house music.

And the two did not fail to delight the fans with Cajmere dancing in-between his turn on the decks while DJ Sneak fashioned a selection of hats tossed from the crowd.

The two-and-a-half hour set ensured the party atmosphere was felt early on, and gave ravers an education of what house music should sound like.

As dusk descended on Glasgow, the phenomenal Derrick Carter played an eclectic mix of old school disco, soul and jazz, and his famous jackin' Chicago sound. The most innovative and exciting new breed of DJ/producers to come out of the city of Detroit in a generation, Visionquest took to stage 2 ahead of the headline slot.

Headliner Laurent Garnier closed stage 2 at the festival, putting on an elaborate and multi-faceted set showing just why he's been dubbed a pioneer of techno throughout his 25 year career.

Playing his well-loved mixes, some of the DJ's from earlier on in the day were spotted enjoying his set from the side of stage.

Jamie Jones' eagerly anticipated return to the city provided a slice of iconic, melodic, deep house and techno tunes on stage 1, ending the night on a high and ensuring that 2014's Riverside Festival was one to remember.

Electric Frog and Pressure Festival Promoter, Dave Clarke said: "We had a tremendous start to The Electric Frog and Pressure Festival on Saturday, with a sold-out crowd enjoying amazing sets from the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Matthew Dear and the world-exclusive back-to-back with Slam and Pan-Pot.

"Sunday's headliners Laurent Garnier and Jamie Jones ended day two on a high. We were delighted with the atmosphere, with everyone really enjoying the music across both stages. We love the collaboration between Electric Frog and Pressure, and Glasgow's Riverside Museum has been the perfect location!"
