Girl band Neon Jungle will be coming to Glasgow to perform and sign copies of their new album.

The quartet, famed for dance smash Braveheart, will be at HMV on Argyle Street on Monday, July 28 at 5pm.

The girls, Jess (21), Amira (18), Asami (18) and Shereen (17), will sign copies of their debut album Welcome to the Jungle and perform an acoustic set instore.

The album will also feature hits Trouble, Welcome to the Jungle and their fourth single Louder which is out July 20.

The song takes a new direction for the band who have become famous for their pop hooks and dance beats, and sees the girls stripped back as they pour their hearts out to this powerful and raw number.

The band said: "Lyrically it's very relatable, it's about drowning out feelings and emotions.

"It's about not being in control of the way you feel because of someone else and wanting to turn everything up louder to escape that.

"I think people expected our fourth single to be another dance track but it was always in our plans to release a slower song and surprise people. It's still got the energy and power but in a more subtle way."

It's been a whirlwind for the band, who have three chart hits firmly under their belt, as the girls have just signed a deal with RCA Records in America after they were handpicked by iconic lingerie brand Victoria's Secret to perform at their legendary fashion show in New York.

If that wasn't enough, the girls have also toured with Jessie J, have been snapped up by model agency Storm, and have been confirmed to perform at a series of festivals this summer including T In The Park, Isle of Wight and V Festival.
