ROBBIE Williams sang through the pain barrier as he wowed fans at Glasgow's Hydro last night - after admitting to suffering from back spasms.
The 40-year-old joked about "the joys of getting older" before vowing that "the show must go on".
And what a show it was for the several thousand fans who flocked to see their idol belt out hit after hit with the backing of a big band and chorus line of dancers.
The first of two dates in Glasgow saw Williams give the swing treatment to chart toppers such as Millennium and Love Supreme, while also performing old-school classics Mr Bojangles, Minnie the Moocher and Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
The star's inimitable cheeky banter kept the crowd going - and he delighted them by donning a tartan tammy while he sang.
