Actor Shia LaBeouf has been removed from a New York City theatre for being disorderly and causing a disruption, police say.
It happened at Studio 54 in Manhattan during a performance of the Broadway show Cabaret.
A spokesman for the show says the actor was "disruptive during act one" and was escorted out of the theatre during the interval.
The 28-year-old, whose films include Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Disturbia and Wall Street Never Sleeps, is in police custody and cannot be reached for comment.
No charges have been filed. Police are continuing to investigate what happened.
