HOLLYWOOD star Maxwell Caulfield got into the movie spirit with his Singin' in the Rain co-stars during rehearsals for the show.
The stage and screen veteran was joined by Coronation Street favourite Vicky Binns, who plays Lina Lamont, as the Glasgow leg of the tour got under way.
The production, which uses a 10 tonne water tank and a sprinkler system to create a lifelike on stage downpour from above and flooding from below the stage, uses more than 12,000 litres of water per performance.
It runs at Glasgow's Theatre Royal until August 23. Speaking ahead of the show, Maxwell, who appeared as Miles Colby in US soap The Colby's said: "I am beyond thrilled to be hitting the road with Singin' in the Rain. As a huge fan of the original movie, the chance to bring this story to life on stage is something I couldn't pass up."
