GLASGOW rockers Twin Atlantic met up with delighted fans at a city music store to celebrate the release of their third album.

The band - Sam McTrusty, Barry McKenna, Ross McNae and Craig Kneale - signed copies of Great Divide for Emma Scott, Nadine Prow and Rebecca Stodart at HMV Argyle Street. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producers Gil Norton and Jacknife Lee - who has worked with REM and U2 - and is a follow-up to the successful 2012 album Free.

Tracks were also recorded at Rockfield, in Wales, with Norton, who has worked with Pixies and Foo Fighters.

It was while with Norton the band had access to the piano used by Queen when they recorded Bohemian Rhapsody.

BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe debuted the first single, Heart & Soul earlier this year, calling it the "hottest record in the world".
