A Glasgow student has discovered Glasgow's top A-list spot - and it's a bus stop.

Music fan Holly Hughes (19), from Anderson, travels on the number 19 or 19a bus most days which picks her up at the Blythswood Square hotel in Glasgow and drops her off at the University of Strathclyde where she studies History and Psychology.

And it appears the teenager has struck gold with her bus stop as she regularly spots celebrities staying at the hotel while she is waiting.

This week, she met Usher who was in the city playing at the SSE Hydro and previously she has rubbed shoulders with Five Seconds of Summer, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande.

She said: "I am just in the right place at the right time. I am just lucky.

"I am a big music fan so it is easy for me to spot them."

The Blythswood Square hotel has become the top destination for celebrities to stay in while visiting the city.

Usher stayed at the city centre hotel and was spotted in the city shopping.

Holly said: "I went over to him and just said, "Hi Usher, welcome to Scotland. He was really nice, happy and smiling away.

"He told another fan he was enjoying his time in Scotland."
