Glasgow duo Honeyblood took to the streets of London on a one-day Flash Tour.

The group embarked on an unusual challenge to celebrate World Music Day on Sunday. Not your ordinary rock tour, the band set out to challenge the status quo of live music, playing pop-up guerilla gigs across the capital.

There was no booking agents, sound checks and tickets. Gigs were all free, and the band announced the locations on Twitter on the day.

Flight delays cut four hours and two locations from the tour but Honeyblood rolled with the punches and managed to squeeze four gigs into one afternoon. Starting on the roof of iconic Camden pub The Hawley Arms, then to a guitar shop on Denmark St followed by the skate park at Southbank and finally the roof of Bussey building in Peckham.

The group said: “The Flash Tour was a one off experience even with all the delays and the last minute changes, so great that our fans followed us to every location and wish we could have done more!

"Our favorite was definitely the skate park at Southbank and blasting out four tracks before getting shut down.”
