Billy Joel has set a record for most performances by a single artist at Madison Square Garden with his 65th show, besting Sir Elton John.
The Piano Man performed for more than two hours before a sold-out crowd in New York City, singing hits including Uptown Girl, We Didn't Start the Fire, It's Still Rock And Roll To Me and Only The Good Die Young.
Joel, 66, who has been performing at MSG once a month since last year, played the piano for most of the night, but also rocked on the guitar and harmonica.
Sir Elton has performed at MSG 64 times and Joel sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road at the show, describing Sir Elton as "a good man and a good friend" before dedicating the song to him.
