Example, Sigma and Slaves are to perform in a secret Glasgow location this month as part of MTV's Live Lockdown.

The acts will take centre stage in front of 350 fans in a secret Glasgow location on September 30.

MTV Live Lockdown will feature stylish, sexy and sleek performances from each artist in a coliseum style set, providing a 360 degree view for an intimate and exclusive audience of approximately 350 fans.

With two huge Top 5 albums, seven Top 10 singles and two No.1’s in the UK alone, Example is renowned for being king of the club anthems with his monstrous live sets. After a busy summer juggling festivals, numerous bookings in Ibiza, a residency in Mallorca, and penning his sixth album, lucky ticket holders will get to hear a plethora of his hits including his new single, Whisky Story.

Example said: “I am just excited to get out on that stage, I love performing, that’s what it’s all about for me, so I’m looking forward to sharing my tracks with the Glasgow audience and seeing their reaction at MTV Live Lockdown.”

Also performing at the hotly anticipated MTV Live Lockdown are Sigma, who have recently announced details of their new single, Redemption. Sigma were the only group in 2014 to have back-to-back No.1 singles in the form of Nobody To Love and Changing (featuring Paloma Faith), with both shifting over 100,000 copies in their first week. Sigma have now sold over 2 million singles worldwide in just over a year and gone Platinum, twice, in the UK. With this in mind, Sigma are no strangers to setting the crowd on fire.

They said: “We can't wait to perform at MTV Live Lockdown! We're really looking forward to seeing Slaves do their thing and catching up with our mate Example. The crowds are always mental in Scotland and we're sure Glasgow will live up to this!”

Completing the stellar line-up are Slaves, one of the most acclaimed live bands of the moment. Their debut album, Are You Satisfied? crashed into the top ten album chart in June and since then the boys have completed their first sold out headline tour of the country, played a string of acclaimed radio sessions, performed three slots at Glastonbury, were awarded the Spirit of punk award by Kerrang! Magazine and recently supported the Libertines at Ibiza Rock’s 10th anniversary.

Excited to perform at MTV Live Lockdown, they said: “We're really looking forward to this gig. Glasgow is a great place to play. Get ready for a big party!”

MTV Live Lockdown will be broadcast across MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels, MTV MUSIC and MTV LIVE HD on October 30.

The first season of MTV Live Lockdown was held in London and featured big name acts including Fall Out Boy, Jess Glynne, Ella Eyre & Lawson.

Glasgow played host to MTV's EMAs last year with artists including Nicki Minaj performing at the SSE Hydro.

Ticketing and venue information for this autumn’s Glasgow event will all be announced in due course.
