American actor Tom Hanks has taken Twitter by storm after tweeting an image of a student card he found in a New York City park.
The Forrest Gump star used his Twitter to try to track down a university student named Lauren.
The ID card shows that she is enrolled at Fordham University in New York City.
He tweeted on Tuesday, "Lauren! I found your student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get it to you. Hanx."

The actor has had thousands of retweets and favourites since sharing the post but it is known if Lauren has got in touch.
One Twitter user, however, claimed it was her friend.
Hanks previously tweeted in March that someone had found his credit card in the street and returned it.
