Singer will.i.am has said he does not know if he would follow in Sam Smith's footsteps and do a Bond theme song.

The Black Eyed Peas singer joined royals and A-listers at the world premiere held at the Royal Albert Hall.

He told the Press Association that he "loved Bond", but could not pick out a favourite film as "every single film bests the last one".

"I've never seen a bad Bond film. I thought no one could be better than Pierce Brosnan, he was cool, but the next actor smashed it. I appreciate every single one of them," he said.

Asked about whether he would do a Bond theme he said: "I love Bond so much and I appreciate the music in the film that it would be so much pressure to do a Bond song. I don't know if I would take that one on.

"I have too much respect. If I was to do one I would have to get my friends like Quincy Jones to get me on the right track."
