Katie Price has complimented ex-husband Peter Andre, saying he is "really good" on Strictly Come Dancing.

Talking to Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid about her forthcoming pantomime appearance, the reality TV star revealed her family had been watching BBC One's popular ballroom dancing series.

"We do watch that. Before X Factor. We record both. I always thought he'd win. He's a really good dancer," she said.

The 37-year-old fell in love with Andre when they were both contestants on ITV's I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.

The couple wed a year later, but divorced in 2009 and have two children together - son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaamii.

Singer Andre married medical student Emily MacDonagh in July, while the former glamour model is now married to Kieran Hayler.

Asked if the youngsters were watching their father's ballroom challenge, she said: "Princess wasn't bothered, but Junior is as he's more the entertainer."

A former favourite to win Strictly, Andre's odds have drifted over the last couple of weeks. Jay McGuiness of The Wanted is the bookies' current tip for the top.

Price went on to hint that she would like to take part in Strictly.

"They do say if you can dance it's a harder show to do than if you couldn't, so maybe if they put me in it, it would be good as I can't dance and they can make me dance."

The TV star, who won Celebrity Big Brother in January this year, has also been watching I'm A Celebrity.

"I have actually, yeah. I do like it, but I have to root for Chris Eubank as he's from Brighton and so am I."

Price is doing pantomime for the first time, playing the Wicked Fairy in Sleeping Beauty at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking.

"I'd never normally do panto," she told ITV's Morgan and Reid.

"Every year I get asked. They kept badgering me and badgering me and I thought, 'OK. Let me have a look'. There's always a good price for Pricey. It's a good role. I'm doing it at Woking, playing the Wicked Fairy. It's a good family thing."
