The actor, who plays Jamie Fraser in the hit Starz show, graces the January/February cover of The Box magaznine, which is one sale December 29.
Heughan talked to the magazine about his rigorous workout regimen, his background as an endurance athlete and how being back in Scotland inspired him to create an incredibly successful charitable effort called My Peak Challenge.
