Britain’s Got Talent is facing a backlash after it emerged that contestant Craig Ball was scouted for the show – but Twitter doesn’t care.
It has been reported that impressionist Craig ended up on the talent programme after being scouted by Al and Jen TV Casting, who saw him on YouTube.
But the news hasn’t put off Craig’s growing fanbase, with viewers bowled over by the way he did impressions of the likes of Kermit and Scooby-Doo while singing along to Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball.

While it’s early days for this year’s series, some people have even suggested that Craig, 24, could go all the way to the final.
I actually think that Craig Singer/Impressionist could be in the #BGT Final.
