Comedian Amy Schumer and her boyfriend Ben Hanisch pulled off one of this year’s most original couple’s Halloween costumes as they brought Netflix horror series Stranger Things to life.
The pair swapped genders, and probably a few items of clothing, to kit themselves out as lead kids Dustin and Eleven.
With the first series of the Duffer Brothers show, featuring Winona Ryder, rocketing in popularity after it was released only a few months ago, it’s no surprise that it was going to be a theme for this year’s Halloween.
But it’s going to be pretty hard to top Amy and Ben’s tribute…
They were committed, even using Dustin’s preferred mode of transport, the bicycle, as they hit the town…
In the show, young Dustin begins investigating after his friend Will mysteriously disappears. Searching for him in the forest, he runs into a young girl with a shaven head and only the number 11 tattooed on her arm as a means of identification.
Ben may not quite pass for a pre-teen girl, but he has the lost soul look pretty well down…
Nice work, guys, and thanks for the inspo for next year!
