Singer Lulu is returning to the West End stage after 30 years to join the cast of 42nd Street.
The 69-year-old will play Dorothy Brock in the production at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
She replaces Sheena Easton, who is completing her run in the production, on March 19.
The Shout star last appeared in the West End, in The Mystery Of Edwin Drood, at the Savoy Theatre in 1987.
She told the Daily Mail: “I’m still ticking, so why not? One of the things I am blessed with – there’s no doubt about it – is to be still here.”
