BY spreading their 10th birthday celebrations over the course of three months, Sensu is truly spoiling us.

Not the kind to be satisfied with a one-off bash, the Sub Club residents have already invited Berliners Tale of Us and Detroit's Seth Troxler to Jamaica Street in the past month.

Either of those alone might have sufficed, but tomorrow it's the turn of techno legend Richie Hawtin's protégé Gaiser to work the notoriously keen Subbie crowd.

A Detroit native, Gaiser spent his formative years playing in punk bands until he witnessed the mercurial Hawtin at the tender age of 14.

Now based in Berlin, he's a key member of Hawtin's Minus collective, and his latest set of tracks, False Light, has been described variously as whimsical and convivial - two moods not at all alien to Sub Club regulars.

As the mid point of the hugely popular night's 10-year celebrations -which continue in December when Loco Dice rolls into town - it's a must for fans of techno both classic and contemporary.

The action continues on Saturday with a residents-only night at Subculture, while on Tuesday the i AM boys welcome UK Garage stalwart Zed Bias, also known as Maddslinky or just plain old Dave Jones , for a banging three-hour set.

n Sensu is 10, tomorrow, Sub Club, 11pm - 3am, £10

n i AM with Zed Bias, Tuesday, Sub Club, 11pm - 3am, £5

Bouncing boys

The all-conquering Colours reunite Glasgow with two of the acts who hit Colourfast hardest when they played the festival in the summer.

Australians Will Sparks and Joel Fletcher - ambassadors of "the Melbourne Sound", whatever that is - are fresh from their Bounce Bus tour, which saw them slaying some of the biggest clubs across North America.

The duo are deadly together and punters should expect scenes of unhinged, neon-clad debauchery - in the best possible sense, of course.

n Let's Bounce Tour with Will Sparks, tomorrow, The Arches, 11pm - 3am, £20

What the Hecker

AT the other end of the electronic spectrum from the Aussie hellraisers is Tim Hecker, the experimental Canadian composer who plays at Stereo tomorrow evening.

His high-brow, almost academic take on techno is a world away from the usual fist-pumping stuff served up in the likes of The Arches, but musos looking for tunes to stimulate their grey matter as well as their legs would do well to check Hecker out.

nTim Hecker, tomorrow, Stereo, 7pm - 11pm, £13

Hard times

History is repeating itself.

Make Do, the basement club next to Glasgow Central that emerged from the ashes of the much-missed Chamber 69, used to be the much-maligned Silver.

After a spell of hosting underground DJs and weird, individual parties it has seemingly reverted to the headache-inducing hardcore nonsense that would have entertained the nefarious characters who frequented the old club.

Disappointing, sure, but there's undoubtedly still an appetite for this stuff - tomorrow night features seminal English hardcore and trance DJ Darren Styles alongside Glasgow legend Hixxy and the refreshing sounds of DJ Breeze.

n Clubland X-treme Hardcore Anthems with Darren Styles, tomorrow, Make Do, 9pm - 3am, £22
