Dusky/Armada Night/Legends of House

London deep house duo Dusky are riding the crest of a wave right now. In the space of just a few weeks they’ve played an enormous eight-hour set at Bethnal Green’s Oval Space, and announced that they’ll be bringing in the bells at the Hollywood Palladium on LA’s Sunset Boulevard. Don’t be surprised to find them in celebratory mood at SWG3 tomorrow night, and listen out for Lydia, the relentless, acid-tinged title track from their new EP, which comes out tomorrow.

As that’s going on in the warehouse, clubbing superbrand Armada takes over the TV studio for a gigantic celebration of cutting-edge EDM. Andrew Rayel, the self-styled “Pride of Moldova” and a “modern-day Mozart” tops the billing following his Coloursfest headline slot. The 23-year-old brings an orchestral to his elegant, layered trance sound, making him one of the scene’s standout names. He’s joined by MaRLo, a Dutch-Australian who has made fans the world over with his banging big room tech-trance, and RODG, who brings a slightly more chilled element to proceedings - don’t expect it to last beyond his set, though. This is going to be a wild one.

On Saturday, things should get a little less frantic – but no less enjoyable - as Streetrave bring the first of their Legends of House Masterclasses to the warehouse. Brooklyner David Morales and Chicago’s Marshall Jefferson are the night’s guest lecturers. The former helped bring the nascent house sound to New York in the early ‘80s. Jefferson played a key part in the movement’s beginning in his hometown, before leading the acid and deep house cultures years later. Support comes from local devotees Jon Mancini, Boney and Bob Jeffries.

Judge Jules

Twenty years ago, Judge Jules was the biggest DJ in the world. He’s now an entertainment lawyer at London firm Sheridans, where he “offers experienced, focused, commercial insight when it comes to being successful in the music business.” For those willing to brave The Savoy on a Saturday night, it offers a great opportunity to soak up his genre-defining classic trance sounds and pick up some expert legal advice at the same time.

• Judge Jules, The Savoy, Saturday, 11pm – 3am, £10

TYCI’s 3rd Birthday

Glaswegian feminist collective TYCI turns three tonight, celebrating in style with an exclusive performance from noisy Welsh guitar-pop troupe Los Campesinos. Unfortunately, the gig’s sold out - but you can get along to Stereo afterwards, when Bossy Love and the TYCI DJs will be pumping out eclectic indie classics until 1am.

• TYCI’s 3rd Birthday, tonight, Stereo, 10pm – 1am, free

The Time Frequency

Old school techno heroes The Time Frequency continue their electronic renaissance with this show at the O2 Academy tomorrow night. After last November’s Barrowlands headline show, it’s another chance to see their 1992 classic Real Love belted out live before a thousand gurning ravers reliving their misspent youth. And who wouldn’t want to see that?

• The Time Frequency, tomorrow, O2 Academy, 8pm – 2am, £20

West End Ibiza Reunion

What would a weekend clubbing preview in winter be without an Ibiza reunion? They seem to be multiplying, these events: providing the equivalent of a Balearic comfort blanket for those who just can’t shake the golden memories of projectile vomiting over the streets of San Antonio’s West End. This one has Hannah Laing from The Highlander, Steph McDonald from The Gallery, and Victoria’s very own Zander Nation.

• West End Ibiza Reunion, Saturday, 69 Below, 9pm – 3am, £10

Bob Wong, Farewell

Throughout the Art School’s turbulent recent past there has been one constant: the friendly, fair and universally-loved head doorman Bob Wong. Equally as likely to frisk you as serve as a confidant at the afterparty, Wong is a steward without comparison. There are surely few bouncers in the world so well-regarded as to merit a send-off like this – Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Fortified Audio and Ben Martin bring the reggae upstairs, while downstairs Sycophantasy, Laurie Pitt and DJ Hush spin hip-hop, house and all manner of weird stuff.

• Bob Wong, Farewell, tomorrow, The Art School, 11pm – 3am, £5

• MikeQ, Saturday, The Art School, 11pm – 3am, £6
