There are certain drinks and foods that we regard as belonging to the upper classes. You don’t see Krug or Calvados on offer down the off-license too often. Likewise, it’s difficult to get decent foie gras in B&M, no matter how hard you try.

And, of course, some products are a loud, proud statement of working class pride. It’s rare to find an evening meal from the Blue Lagoon on a House of Lords expense claim. And there probably aren’t too many discarded bottles of Frosty Jack’s littering the manicured streets of the Mearns.
