Thousands of ravers took over Braehead Arena on Saturday to indulge in sets from some of the best DJs in the world.

Steve Aoki, Showtek, Headhunterz, Dannic, Judge Jules and Will Sparks were just some of the big names who played storming sets at the annual event.

We asked ravers, who travelled from all over Scotland, what they thought of this year's event.

Tracy Livingstone, from Greenock, returned to Coloursfest for the first time in 10 years.

She said: "It's brilliant. I am here to see loads of people like Headhunterz and Judge Jules."

Fergie, from Easterhouse, was excited for his first visit to Coloursfest. He said: "I am here to see Showtek."

Bob Gregor, from Fife, was enjoying his first visit to Coloursfest. He said: "I am here to see Will Sparks. He is just so good."

Jodie akande, from Coatbridge, was at the event for a third time. She said: "I love it. The atmosphere is good. No one really cares and everyone lets loose.

"It is not pretentious. I am looking forward to seeing Steve Aoki. With The Arches nightclub going, there will be a lot more people here and going to events like this because The Arches was were everyone went."

Roisin Taylor, from Edinburgh, was enjoying her first visit to Coloursfest. She said: "It's good. I am here to Steve Aoki."

Becca Goldie, from Bathgate, was also at Coloursfest for the first time. She said: "It's amazing. I am here to see anybody and everybody."

Gemma Bryson, from Renfrew, said: "It is good and I am looking forward to seeing Showtek and Steve Aoki."

Gemma's friend Michelle Wright, from Liverpool, was at Coloursfest for a first time. She said: "It's good. I am really looking forward to seeing Headhunterz."
