FLIGHT Facilities were due to take the roof off The Arches a couple of weekends ago, but at short notice it was delayed until tomorrow.

A bumper bill sees the dreamy Aussie duo joined by Neapolitan DJ Davide Squillace, Parisian electro stereotype Brodinski, and New York bred, Paris-based house/techno DJ Louisahhh!

On Saturday, Italian electro-house duo DJs From Mars play their first ever gig in Scotland.

There's no doubt that'll be pretty good, but the Moda Black III tour up at Saint Judes should provide the underground dance fan with a bit more substance: Dyed Soundorom goes back to back with Dan Ghenacia, and they're joined by local house duo Mia Dora and Moda Black bosses Jaymo and Andy George.

l Flight Facilities, tomorrow, The Arches, 10pm - 3am, £12.50

l DJs From Mars, Saturday, The Arches, 10pm - 3am, £15

l Moda Black III Tour, Saturday, Saint Judes, 10pm - 3am, £8

Euro afterparty

THE cultural juggernaut that is Eurovision isn't even a guilty pleasure any more.

It's ok to say you love it - as long as you make it clear that it's in an ironic way, of course.

In 2014 you can watch - and enjoy - Eurovision and colleagues won't shun you (unless you work at the Kremlin), friends will want to come round and watch it with you, and broadsheet and gossip rag writers alike will copy and paste your tweets into their reports.

It's a new era of cheese appreciation, and I'm glad we're around to witness it.

But how to fill that horrible void in the immediate aftermath of the winner being crowned?

Well, Pretty Ugly's EuroDisco is one way: it's a Eurovision afterparty at The Admiral on Saturday night, and it comes with the promise of dodgy costumes, "nul points" drinking games (that's usually my score anyway) and - as you might expect - questionable song choices.

I think it goes without saying, but I cannot wait.

l Pretty Ugly presents EuroDisco, Saturday, The Admiral, 11pm - 3am, £6

Seminal night

DUBLIN-BORN ex-raver Sh*t Robot, aka Marcus Lambkin, is credited as the man who turned LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy onto dance music.

He's therefore pretty much responsible for the best band ever, and we all owe him a debt - so the least you can do is get down to The Berkeley Suite tomorrow and, if not buy him a drink, then go off your nut for his perfectly-distilled minimal techo, funk and disco.

He's joined by local veteran Hush on what should be another seminal night.

l Sh*t Robot, tomorrow, The Berkeley Suite, 11pm - 3am, £8

Raving Archer

THE chaotic early 90s sound of Altern-8 was like nothing that came before.

They reached No. 3 with Activ-8 (Come With Me) despite looking like ravey Heisenbergs, all gas masks and chemical warfare suits, and generally left an indelible mark on British rave culture.

On Tuesday at the Subbie, join founding member Mark Archer for some unadulterated craziness - in the best possible way, of course.

l Full On Mask Hysteria, Tuesday, Sub Club, 11pm - 3am, £6
