He posted an image of the council home he lived in as a youngster on Chalmers Drive and said: "I was born in that house!! Strange and complex emotions as I leave my 'home'"
The 53-year-old also shared black and white snaps of his parents. He lost his dad John last year and he has previously spoken about his mum Susan's battle with dementia.
Hannah is the youngest of three children and has two older sisters. His mother Susan was a cleaner in Marks & Spencer and his dad John was a toolmaker.
He attended Heathery Knowe Primary then Claremont High School in East Kilbride.
He went on to an apprenticeship as an electrician but started his acting career at the East Kilbride Rep Theatre Club before he attended the RSAMD.
