Jamie Foxx is not just a hero on the big screen.
The White House Down star reportedly saved a driver’s life after he pulled him from his burning truck after he crashed near his house in Hidden Valley, California.
One eyewitness, who runs the Safety for Citizens Facebook page in Ventura County, described the dramatic scene, writing: “Jamie told CHP (California Highway Patrol) that he heard the accident and also a person screaming from the overturned vehicle.
“Jamie also made a 911 call. Jamie said he was able to reach into the vehicle, grab the person, and drag them away to safety.”
Jamie’s daughter Corinne tweeted her pride at her dad’s actions.
Just got off the phone with my dad… Absolutely wild. That man really did have angels watching him. Definitely a life or death situation.

According to a police report obtained by NBC News, the driver, identified as Brett Kyle, was driving “at a high rate of speed” when he flipped his Toyota Tacoma into a drainage ditch.
“It struck a drainage pipe and concrete casing causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times,” the California Highway Patrol report read. “The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side, and became engulfed in flames with Mr Kyle trapped inside his vehicle.”
Jamie, along with another unnamed man, helped free Kyle from the vehicle. Kyle, who was taken to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, has since been charged with DUI.
