Amy Schumer has denied accusations that she stole jokes from other comedians.
The Trainwreck star used Twitter to hit back at allegations of joke theft after a video was released comparing her material to that of other comedians.
On my life, I have never and would never steal a joke.

The montage video of clips on Vimeo alleges that Amy stole jokes from comedians Kathleen Madigan, Wendy Liebman, Tammy Pescatelli, and the late Patrice O’Neal. The video is entitled Amy Schumer is a Joke Thief.
Amy also defended herself during an appearance on the Jim Norton Advice Show on Sirius XM’s Opie Radio.

The video starts out with a clip of Wendy telling a joke that seems similar to one Amy delivered during her HBO special and then also includes clips from other routines and compares them to sketches from Inside Amy Schumer.
“Between Amy Schumer doing 1 of my best jokes on her HBO special and this meme of my joke, I’m done with social media,” Wendy reportedly tweeted and then deleted, according to screenshots obtained by Refinery 29.

In her interview with Jim, Amy said: “I’m getting accused of stealing jokes and I wanted to come and talk to you about it and clear my name because I would never ever do that and never have.”

She added: “I have to come up with so much material for my TV show, this movie, stand-up. And I’m so careful. I will literally take a polygraph. And I just would never do that. That would be so stupid for me to do that.”
