Melissa McCarthy has said she wasn’t invited to the Gilmore Girls reunion.
The comedian told a fan on Twitter that nobody asked her to reprise her role of Sookie St. James in the revival, which will stream on Netflix.
Thanks for the invite, but sadly no one asked me or Sookie to come back to Stars Hollow. Wish them all the best!! https://t.co/II2Atug4wx

Melissa played Lorelai Gilmore’s best friend in the hit show, which revolved around a fast-talking mother and daughter.
Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, who played the duo, have already confirmed they are on board for the new episodes.
Netflix posted this picture on Instagram last week, featuring framed pictures of the mother and daughter on top of jumpers from Rory Gilmore’s alma maters.
Lauren has already revealed how excited she is to return with this Twitter post:
I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work.@netflix #GilmoreGirls pic.twitter.com/tBb07J9oO1

The episodes are expected to arrive on Netflix later this year.
