Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell will strut their stuff on the red carpet as they arrive for a “fashionable screening” of Zoolander No. 2 in London’s Leicester Square tonight.

They will be joined by new co-stars Penelope Cruz and Kristen Wiig, who take centre stage in the sequel to 2001′s Zoolander.

The film sees male models Ben (Derek Zoolander) and Owen (Hansel) attempt to reclaim their place in the world of high fashion.

Fifteen years after we first met the character, Ben is back as “really, really, really ridiculously good looking” Derek, famed for his “looks” including Le Tigre, Blue Steel and Magnum. But now, he has retired from the fashion industry.

Owen returns to the role of fellow model and idiot Hansel, while Will plays their fashion world enemy Mugatu – who starts the film in prison, serving a sentence for the attempted assassination of the prime minister of Malaysia.

But he is soon out and up to his villainous tricks, declaring: “Prison changed me. I am bad to the core now.”

Penelope plays motorcycle-riding Valentina, an Interpol special agent (global fashion division), while Kristen puts on an almost-unintelligible accent and layers of make-up to play fashion mogul Alexanya Atoz.

In the sequel, a spate of celebrity killings has led to the death of Justin Bieber after a night-time chase scene through the winding streets of Rome.

All the victims mysteriously snapped photos of Derek’s “looks” in their dying moments, with Bieber declaring “peace out world”.

Desperate to get to the bottom of this, Valentina enlists the help of Derek and Hansel.

Others confirmed for the red carpet include Ben’s real-world wife Christine Taylor, who played journalist and Derek’s love interest Matilda Jeffries in the first film, and screenwriter Justin Theroux.

Zoolander No. 2 will be released in UK cinemas on February 12.
