The second BFG trailer has been released ahead of this summer’s release of the movie.
English actor Mark Rylance, newly crowned with an Academy Award, voices the title character and in the trailer we get a taste of the Big Friendly Giant’s relationship with orphan Sophie, which is at the heart of Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of the Roald Dahl book.
The visual effects look stunning and we get a long look at life in Giant Country after the BFG smuggles Sophie away.
Little is given away about the plot – even if most of us have read the book – although we do get a sneak peek at the antagonists at the end of the trailer.
The BFG is due to open in UK cinemas on July 22.
