If, like us, you enjoyed both Harry Potter and David Attenborough documentaries as a child, JK Rowling’s spin-off Hogwarts “textbook” Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them was absolutely the best thing ever.
Well now, five years after the last Harry Potter film came out, Rowling’s brief magical creature guide is inspiring a Hollywood blockbuster – with Eddie Redmayne playing the book’s “author” Newt Scamander. But how well do you remember what Newt wrote, and what Harry and Ron scribbled about Fantastic Beasts in the margins?
