Bill and Ted are heading back to movie screens – and this time they will be time-travelling through London.

It was recently confirmed that the goofy duo are set for a third outing 25 years after the last movie, and now it has emerged that the long-awaited sequel will have a “huge British feel”.

“The script is already written for the third film and much of it is set in the UK,” a source told The Sun. “The whole film is going to have a huge British feel. They’ll time-travel through London and meet historical figures, meaning the Queen and Winston Churchill could get cameos.”

Bill And Ted 3 has been in the pipeline for some time, with star Alex (Bill) dropping hints about the plot as far back as 2014.

However, the plans seemed to have stalled until Alex confirmed earlier this month that it was still on the cards.

He told Forbes: “It’s looking good. This is Hollywood so I don’t believe it’s happening until it’s coming out on VOD but we’re all working on the film everyday at the moment in terms of the pre-prep type work so it’s an active project. Hopefully we’ll be shooting it shortly.”

Asked if Keanu was also on board as Ted, he said: “How the **** would we make it if he wasn’t on board? People always ask if Keanu’s doing it and I’m like, ‘No, I’m making a Bill movie.’ Of course he’s in it. I can’t make a Bill and Ted movie without Keanu.”

The pair starred in Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989 and Bill And Ted’s Bogus Journey in 1991.
