Suicide Squad isn’t looking as bright in weekend two at the US box office.

Word of mouth may have caught up with the poorly reviewed film, which stars Margot Robbie and Will Smith.

However, it still topped the box office with $43.8 million (£33.9 million).
Meanwhile, the raunchy animated comedy Sausage Party had reason to celebrate.
The film, co-written by Seth Rogen, lapped up a hefty $33.6 million (£26 million) in its first weekend to take second place. It cost only $19 million (£14.7 million) to produce.
Disney’s Pete’s Dragon was in third with $21.5 million (£16.6 million).
