AL PACINO fans could spend the evening with him when he visits Glasgow later this year.

 

The Godfather and Scarface star will be at the SECC on May 19 as part of his UK tour.

The actor, who made his name in more than 40 films, including Scarface and The Godfather trilogy, is promising personal stories, unseen clips and even a chance to speak to him during An Evening With Al Pacino.

The 74-year-old said: "I'm looking forward to being in Scotland for the first time and meeting people and seeing some of Scotland's legendary scenery. It's a breathtaking country.

"Coming to Glasgow will be one of the highlights of the tour for me and I'm looking forward to a warm Scottish welcome and sharing an evening of engaging conversation and laughter with my Scottish fans."

His career spans five decades, with other movies including Any Given Sunday, Scent of a Woman and Heat.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am today. Prices range from £65 to £150, with meet-and-greet packages on offer.
