Hollywood heartthrob Chris Pratt has revealed that his actress wife Anna Faris is to blame for his unusual take on an English accent.
The actor, who has starred in hit movies including Guardians Of The Galaxy, told chat show host Graham Norton that he picked it up after she started watching reality show The Only Way Is Essex.
He said: "When I was filming Guardians Of The Galaxy in the UK, we watched a lot of garbage TV and my wife went crazy for Towie. She fell in love with the show and I started picking up the accent, so now the only British one I can do is an Essex one."
The star also revealed that he ended up with an official warning after flashing too much flesh during a scene on his hit sitcom Parks And Recreation for NBC in the US.
He said: "We were shooting a scene where my character turns up naked at my co-star's door. I was wearing skin-coloured underwear and I wasn't getting quite the right reaction I was hoping for. It was late in the day so I decided to improvise and drop my trousers for the take. Her reaction was great and it's the take they used.
"Then I got a letter from NBC's HR department that said 'There is a protocol about nude scenes. This is not a joke and you are being reprimanded and you can't go around telling people about this like some kind of joke'. I've framed the letter."
:: The Graham Norton Show is on BBC1 at 10.35pm tonight.
