Trainspotting star Ewen Bremner joins a stellar cast of British actors for new Christmas comedy Get Santa.
The movie trailer released today boasts a cast that includes Harry Potter star Jim Broadbent and British actors Rafe Spall, Jodie Whittaker, Warwick Davis, Stephen Graham, Matt King and Joanna Scanlan.
Scottish star Bremner, who played Spud in Trainspotting and also starred in Black Hawk Down, will feature in the movie which is released on Friday, December 5.
Get Santa tells the story of a nine-year old boy Tom, who is played by newcomer Kit Connor, who finds Santa Claus (Jim Broadbent) in his garden shed after escaping wreckage of his sleigh.
Desperate to return to Lapland, Santa asks Tom and his dad Steve (Rafe Spall) for help.
He has crash-landed while test-driving his new sleigh, and enlists Tom and his father Steve (Rafe Spall) to help him get back to Lapland. But what happens when Santa is arrested and thrown into prison? Will Steve and Tom be able to break him out in time for Christmas?
