Joan Collins: I have not been arrested
Actress Joan Collins has taken to Twitter to clarify that she has not been arrested.
The 81-year-old tweeted from her official account @joancollinsobe: "No I am not the Joan Collins Who was a rested yesterday At a Dublin protest meeting !!! The very idea!!"

She is referring to the fact that yesterday, according to RTE News, a United Left Alliance TD, also named Joan Collins, was detained during a protest against the arrest of water charge protesters in Dublin, Ireland. United's Joan Collins was later released. The actress was recently awarded a Damehood by the Prince of Wales.
