GLASGOW-born James McAvoy was among a host of acting talent gathered for last night's London premiere of the latest X-Men movie.
McAvoy posed on the blue carpet with co-stars Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.
Also in the cast of X- Men: Days of Future Past are Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence and Wolverine's Hugh Jackman.
McAvoy, who plays young Charles Xavier, spoke of his excitement at playing alongside Stewart.
He said: "It's kind of amazing to work with him and something which I never thought would happen.
"I play the younger him, but I also play him very differently...apart from the empathy, which we both try to do."
The film sees the characters from the original X-Men movie join forces with their younger selves.
