The BBC introducing stage is pleasingly busy for a noisy, alternative two-piece band.
It seems like there's a few of them about at the moment but Pinact feel as raw as a two-piece should be.
It seems almost too obvious to compare the pair to Nirvana, but it can't be avoided.
Drawing heavily from their latest release, Stand Still and Riot, the Glasgow duo tear through a 25 minute set with the kind of now or never intensity that wouldn't be out of place on Nirvana's Bleach.
It's loud, there is almost no crowd interaction and the whole set feels like it's over in no time, but it seemed to leave an impression on the audience, who will almost certainly return for future performances.
