Mariah Carey makes a big entrance at Essence festival
Mariah Carey made sure all eyes were on her as she made her entrance at the Essence festival.
The chart-topper, who is known for being something of a diva, pulled out all the stops – having six beefy men carry her out on to the stage on a chaise longue.

The star was looking uber-glam in a skimpy sparkly dress that flashed plenty of flesh, and some towering heels.
Mariah, 46, later slipped into a pink bustier as she treated the audience at the gig in New Orleans to a string of her hits.
