Drake might finally be knocked from the top of the official singles chart this week, as Kungs Vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners are on course for number one.

The rapper’s One Dance has been at the summit for 12 weeks, making it the longest reigning chart-topper of the digital age,

But Drake’s reign could be coming to an end as This Girl by Kungs Vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners is 1,300 combined chart sales ahead at the midweek stage, said the Official Charts Company.

However, This Girl has been in the lead at the weekly update stage for four weeks in a row and has yet to claim the top spot.

Australian funk trio Cookin’ On 3 Burners originally released the song in 2009, but a remix by French producer Kungs has seen it take off across Europe this summer.

Calvin Harris and Rihanna are at number three with This Is What You Came For, while Drake and Rihanna’s Too Good has slipped down a place to four.

Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop The Feeling is a non-mover at five.

In the albums chart, Blink-182 are on course to hit number one for the first time.

The rock trio’s seventh studio album California – the first to feature vocalist Matt Skiba, who has replaced Tom DeLonge – has amassed 17,000 combined chart sales at the midweek stage, outselling the rest of the top three combined.

Blink’s previous peak position was number four when Take Off Your Pants And Jacket was released in 2001.

The rockers are the only new entry in this week’s top five, which is made up of acts who have experienced live show uplifts.

Coldplay, Adele and ELO are at two, three and four respectively following their Glastonbury performances.

Beyonce remains at five with Lemonade as her Formation World Tour continues in the UK.
