Britney Spears is really on a roll as, just days before she is set to release her ninth studio album Glory, she has dropped a brand new single.

Entitled Do You Wanna Come Over?, the US singer has given another hint at what the forthcoming record will sound like, and it’s classic Britney.

A punchy dance track with some interesting key changes in the chorus and saucy lyrics, it’s easy to hear that Britney has not changed her style too much over her nearly two decades as a pop icon.

She sings: “Say you’re feeling low and that your day was the baddest / Telling me you can’t sleep because of your mattress / Do you wanna come over?”

So far, the 34-year-old singer has released the album’s lead single Make Me…, and two promo singles, Clumsy and Private Show.

Glory appears to be quite a mix of tracks judging by the four that have already been revealed, with Private Show being a slower tune and Clumsy influenced by EDM.

Glory is out on August 26, just two days before Britney returns to the MTV VMAs stage after nearly a decade.

She was confirmed this week as one of the performers of the prestigious music awards ceremony. It will be her first stage stint at the show since 2007.

Britney, who has just returned to Las Vegas for her Piece Of Me residency show, will perform Make Me… with collaborator G-Eazy.
