Ed Sheeran has responded in the best possible way to fake reports that he is to quit the music business after his world tour.
The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker took to his Twitter to say: “Das B******s.”
The singer was compelled to respond after a fake news story on his departure from the industry was published online by MTV UK via another national newspaper.

The site had said that “there is such a thing as too much of a good thing,” adding: “Sources close to the chart-topping star have said he wants to take a back seat after his Divide World Tour wraps up - with some even saying he could quit music forever.”
Thankfully, Ed has cleared up all the nonsense and we’re relieved to have it confirmed that he’s still going strong.

The Grammy-winning singer played the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on April 16 and 17 as part of his new world tour.
The sellout dates followed the release of chart-topping singles, including ‘Castle on the Hill’.

Ed, 25, thanked his fans for their support at the time as he returned to the limelight in a post on Instagram after a one-year break.
He said: “Truly overwhelmed with the reaction to these new songs.
“I’ve never had anything like this, thank you for all your wonderful messages.”
