Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore was one of the founder members of Deep Purple
GUITAR Legend Ritchie Blackmore is warming up for this weekend's Glasgow date at the Hydro.
As one of Deep Purple’s founding members, Blackmore was behind some of the band's biggest anthems including Smoke on the Water, Hush and Highway Star.
The Brit rocker also co-founded Rainbow after leaving Deep Purple in 1975 going on to record rock classics including Since You've Been Gone.
