HIP HOP star Coolio donned a kilt for his debut at Glasgow's SSE Hydro last night.

The rapper was performing at the city venue as part of the I Love the 90s tour.

He burst onto the stage wearing his kilt as he performed hits Gangsta's Paradise and C U When U Get There.

He said: "Hey y'all you know I gotta represent."

Earlier in the day, Coolio met up with former CBB housemate to take in Celtic v Hibernian at Parkhead.

The music star also conducted the club's half time draw and took selfies with delighted fans.

In an exclusive interview with The Evening Times, he told how he had visited ex-politician Sheridan's Cardonald home and kept a friendship with the Scot after the reality show.

He said: “I have some people in Scotland I consider like my family. Tommy Sheridan is my good friend."

He added: “We still keep in contact. I will probably go to his house for dinner when I come to Scotland like I did last time.

“I met his family and he has a lovely family. Hopefully we will get a chance to hang out, I would like to introduce him to some of my friends.

“Tommy is good people. I like his conviction. He stands up for what he believes in and I like that.”

Coolio was joined on stage with a whole host of other 90s rap stars including Vanilla Ice and Salt N Pepa.

The show continues around the UK with dates in Bristol, Liverpool and Birmingham.
