CASTLEMILK star Gerry Cinnamon will play a second date at The Barrowlands due to an overwhelming demand for tickets.

The singer, who released his debut album Erratic Cinematic last week, will now play the East End venue on Saturday, December 23.

He has already sold-out a date for Friday, December 22.

It comes after he launched his debut album with a gig at St Luke's on Thursday night.

The star's debut album, which features Sometimes, also stormed to the top of the Scottish charts when it was released on Thursday.

He beat the likes of Ed Sheeran and other Scottish stars Runrig and Ricky Ross to claim the top spot.

Gerry has gained a cult following and has sold-out shows at several city venues.

He also performed at Glasgow's first-ever TRNSMT Festival earlier this year.

Tickets for the new show go on sale on Tuesday.
