GLOBAL superstar Nicki Minaj will bring her new world tour to Glasgow next year.

The rap artist will join forces with Hip Hop star Future for the NickiHndrxx tour, which will come to the SSE Hydro in Finnieston on March 17.

She announced on social media: "I can't wait to see you all on the NICKIHNDRXX TOUR with @1future! Presale starts 6/12 at 10am local time. Public on sale 6/15."

The tour announcement comes ahead of US star Minaj releasing her new album Queen in August.

The 35-year-old previously performed at the Glasgow venue during The Pinkprint Tour in 2015.

The Trinidadian-New Yorker is best known for hits Moment 4 Life, Super Bass and Starships.

She will be joined by Atlanta rapper Future who is behind hit singles Where Ya At, Jumpman and Lowlife.

The tour will touch down in 50 cities across North America and Europe, kicking off on September 21 in Baltimore.

It will include stops in major markets at iconic venues throughout Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Munich, Paris, London, and more.

Tickets for the show costing £45.40 to 68.10 will go on pre-sale for SSE Reward customers on June 13 at 9am.

General sale for ticket is June 15 at 9am.
