X FACTOR star Amelia Lily is to perform at Hamilton Park Race Course next month, just weeks after she appears at the Glasgow Show.

After starring at Glasgow Green on July 21, the TV show finalist will perform at the Lanark Silver Bell Race Night on Friday, August 23, together with Britain's Got Talent contenders, The Loveable Rogues.

Middlesborough teenager Amelia made X Factor history during the 2011 series by finishing in third place under the tutelage of Kelly Rowland, having returned to the show after being voted off in week one.

She has since reached number two in the UK Charts with You Bring Me Joy, and supported Girls Aloud on tour. Amelia said: "I can't wait. I love being on stage in Scotland and promise to get the crowd going to help give them the perfect end to their night at the races."

The Loveable Rogues won fourth place on Britain's Got Talent in 2012. and have since signed to Simon Cowell's Syco Music. Tickets, £18 in advance and £20 on the day, are available at www.hamilton-park.co.uk
