Conchita does her Wurst to win Eurovision

BEARDED drag queen Conchita Wurst has made a triumphant return to Austria after winning the Eurovision Song Contest.

After securing her victory, Conchita, the alter ego of 25-year-old Thomas Neuwirth, said: "This award is dedicated to everybody who believes in a world of peace and freedom.

"You know who you are - we are unity and we are unstoppable."

The UK's drought of Eurovision Song Contest victories continued after former shop assistant Molly Smitten-Downes could manage only 17th place with her highly-fancied song Children Of The Universe.
