David Guetta will be the second headliner for Glasgow Summer Sessions, Scotland's only annual outdoor city music festival.

The festival is shaping up to have one of the best line-ups of the summer after last week's announcement of US rock stars, The Killers.

David Guetta will perform on Saturday 16th August with the full line-up to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 2nd May 2014 at 9am and will be available to over 18s only.

Tickets are available via www.gigsinscotland.com or by calling 08444 999 990.

A pre-sale will also be available on Wednesday 30th April at 9am through gigsinscotland.com.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events said: "We're absolutely delighted that David Guetta will be performing his first major outdoor solo show in Scotland.

"His live performances are incredible and he always makes sure the crowd has an amazing time. He's told us before how much he loves the Scottish crowds and I know we won't disappoint him."

Glasgow Summer Sessions attracted international stars including Eminem, Tinie Tempah, Avicii and Kings Of Leon last year, selling more than 100,000 tickets.

Bus packages will be available in conjunction with Citylink across Scotland direct to Bellahouston Park. They'll be on sale alongside event tickets and via www.citylink.co.uk.

Additionally, a shuttle bus service will be available on the day of the event making return journeys from Buchanan Street Bus Station to Bellahouston Park. The fare will be payable upon boarding.
