After the trio performed at the Stellar Gospel Awards last month, for the first time since the Superbowl in 2013, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have apparently been discussing a final reunion tour and album, according to the Mail Online.

But Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé's dad and the ex-manager of each of the three women, is believed to own a quarter of the rights to Destiny's Child - meaning he could claim money from their usage of the band name each time they put on a show.

Kelly fired Knowles as a manager in 2009, Michelle followed in 2010 and Beyoncé sacked him in 2011.

The women reportedly wanted to do a 10 year anniversary tour and reunion album, but it is thought they are unwilling to deal with Knowles following family issues.

Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle are understood to want to buy him out of the contract so they can use the name Destiny's Child, but it is unlikely that Knowles, thought to be estranged from his daughter, will reach a compromise with the women.

The women last performed as Destiny's Child in their Destiny Fulfilled tour in 2005, which grossed $70.8 million in the United States alone.
