Former Primal Scream guitarist Robert 'Throb' Young has died, according to reports.
Young is a founder member of the Glasgow group, which formed in 1984.
The band achieved huge success in the 1990s with their album Screamadelica, which included Movin' on Up and won the first Mercury Music Prize.
Young left the band in 2006.
Fans have expressed their sadness at Young's death on Twitter.
Liam Gallagher tweeted: "RIP Robert Young AKA 'Throb'. Live forever LG x"
Irvine Welsh tweeted: "RIP Robert Young. One of the best, the most beautiful, who WAS rock n roll. Big love bro, give them it big time over the other side. #Throb"
Mat Osman of Suede tweeted: "RIP Robert Young. Saw him down in Hove recently and he looked well and happy. Love to all his lot. #Throb"
